The tour operator based in Hanover is the market leader in tourism in Germany and a 100% subsidiary of the TUI Group. The company arranges holiday trips and handles their sales and marketing on the German market. Whether a broken leg right before the holiday or a lost suitcase with valuable contents - there are many unpredictable factors when it comes to travel. But they can be insured. With Vers4U, TUI now offers tailor made travel protection insurances online - regardless of the tour operator chosen.

The aim of the project was to design and implement a travel protection portal for TUI, including a booking tool.

The biggest challenge of the project in addition to the technical complexity: the given time frame of three months. From December 2017 to February 2018, the agile team from neusta software development implemented the project.
